  • Why do I have to put a credit/debit card on file ahead of time & what happens if I cancel in advance? 

    • We require a valid credit/debit card to guarantee our team is paid for their time & the business can cover its base expenses if a guest cancels their appointment within the 24 hour cancellation window or no-shows their appointment. If you cancel your appointment outside of the 24 hour cancellation window, the card remains securely on file for following appointments.

  • Why are you a non-tipping spa & does that mean gratuity is already included?

    • Much like an accountant, home inspector, or other professions under the Department of Safety & Professional Services, we are the experts in our field of work as Wisconsin State Licensed Professionals. At Elysian, we believe that the most respectful tips that can be given are your repeated business, referrals, & positive reviews online, just as you would give any other non-tipped business. For our team, tips are an unreliable form of income that can lead to financial insecurity, resentment, & unhealthy competition among team members. For our guests, we wanted to eliminate any pressure, awkwardness & stigma that can accompany tipping culture. There is no "auto-gratuity" or "service fee" hiding in our prices, what you see is what you pay. ​

  • Can I reserve the spa for a private group? 

    • Yes, our spa can be reserved for a private group booking if the date is available. Please email samararaine@elysianstudiospa.com so we can gather more details. Please note that all Spa Policies still apply to a group reservation.​
